Yesterday, the Arnlea team was proud to exhibit at the Wider African Energy Summit 2025, held at the prestigious Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen. Representing Arnlea on the day were Claire Murray, Head of Business Development, and Jen Hughes, Marketing Manager, who spent the event meeting delegates, sharing insights, and demonstrating how Nexar supports safer, smarter inspections across the energy sector.
Organised by OGV Group in partnership with the Ministry of Energy (Ghana), Petroleum Commission, Ghana, and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), the summit brought together key stakeholders from across Africa and the UK to explore investment opportunities, supply chain technologies, and strategic partnerships within the energy industry.
The event showcased how digital technologies are transforming energy operations across Africa, with a strong emphasis on supply chain innovation, asset integrity, safety, and compliance. Throughout the day, Claire and Jen had the opportunity to connect with operators, service providers, and decision-makers who are actively involved in shaping the future of African energy infrastructure.
Conversations at the Arnlea stand focused on how Nexar, our cloud-based Ex inspection and asset management software, helps companies:
The quality of discussions and the strong level of engagement highlighted the growing demand for trusted digital inspection solutions that can support both established and emerging energy markets.
One of the standout aspects of the day was the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with industry peers and potential partners who share the same commitment to safety, performance, and digital transformation. From upstream operators through to technology providers, the summit created an excellent environment for collaboration and future-focused discussions.
Claire and Jen made a number of valuable new connections and thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the challenges and ambitions shaping energy projects across Africa.
A big thank you to OGV Group and its partners for delivering such a well-organised and insightful event. The Wider African Energy Summit continues to be an important platform for strengthening ties between African and UK energy markets.
If you didn’t get the chance to meet the team yesterday and would like to learn more about how Nexar can support your inspection and asset management operations, we’d love to hear from you.
