
A long-standing client, a major North Sea operator, had been successfully using Arnlea's legacy inspection software for many years. While the system had served them well, Arnlea's next-generation, cloud-based software, Nexar, offered significantly improved flexibility and functionality — making migration a natural next step.
Arnlea worked closely with the client to identify the most suitable window for migration to Nexar, accommodating the client's other projects and commitments to help minimise any disruption or inconvenience.
The team then focused on customising the software, tailoring it to suit the operator's specific requirements and priorities.
This was followed by dedicated client support over a number of weeks to ensure a smooth migration process, which included providing in-depth training to the client's administrators and inspectors offshore.
Ensuring that the client's migrated data was properly cleansed was an important additional step, undertaken by Arnlea's team. This helped prevent any incorrect data entries in the upgraded system, giving the operator a fit-for-purpose, wholly efficient system that was ready to use from day one.
The successful migration to Nexar took place — including all preparation of software and data cleansing — without disruption to inspection schedules.
