Arnlea was founded over 30 years ago in Aberdeen, Scotland. The company was created in response to the Cullen Report, which followed the Piper Alpha disaster in the late 1980s. With the oil and gas sector under pressure to improve safety in hazardous environments and meet stricter compliance standards, operators began looking for better ways to raise standards and protect their people. Since then, Arnlea has focused on supporting companies in achieving these goals through our inspection software.
We have built our reputation by listening, learning, and delivering solutions that make inspections safer, faster, and more accurate, and we continue to do this for clients all over the world today.
Being based in Aberdeen gives us direct access to many of the world’s largest energy companies and the people who understand the real challenges of working offshore and onshore in hazardous environments.
Over the years, we have developed several software solutions, each one building on the last. Our earlier tools, such as InspectAll, Integrity Watch, and IntrinsixEx, helped move inspections from paper-based methods to efficient digital systems.
Our latest software, Nexar, brings all that experience together. It is the culmination of everything we have learned, and we could not be prouder of the results it is delivering for our customers. Nexar helps increase safety, productivity, and compliance while cutting costs and reducing carbon emissions. Being cloud-based, it is quicker to deploy and easier to use — anywhere. It’s built to meet the demands of the modern energy industry.
We are continuously improving Nexar, working with new technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital twins, while our software is already supporting companies in the growing renewables sector as the energy transition accelerates.
Our goal is simple: to keep evolving Nexar so it remains the best tool for safe, efficient inspections — by listening to our customers, integrating new technologies, and adapting to the needs of the market.
