TAQA and Arnlea renew for further five years

The renewal will encompass TAQA’s six operational offshore assets in the North Sea and includes new technical additions

[31 August 2021]
Arnlea Systems Ltd, global leader in industrial mobile software for tracking, inspection and maintenance for the energy industry, has renewed its contract with TAQA’s UK business for a further five years. The renewal will encompass TAQA’s six operational offshore assets in the North Sea and includes new technical additions.

As an existing client of Arnlea, four of TAQA’s assets currently use Windows-based tablets for inspections, with two new assets now deploying smart phones and android tablets, both of which have Hazardous Area Zone 1 rated bodies. Arnlea’s Hazardous Area inspection software reduces inspection administration and labour, as well as improving productivity and greater data control for the global operator.

Allan Merritt, Arnlea’s CEO said,

“We are seeing many of our customers seeking better control of their data, consistency of software and seamless upgrades so that their operational control is at an optimum level. Our technical teams work to anticipate future client demand so that whenever a client like TAQA requires more, we’re able to deliver. As a SaaS provider, every digital step forward clients take, means that we’re providing the means for their operations to streamline further and deliver more to their stakeholders. We look forward to working with the team at TAQA and taking their hazardous area inspection software even further forward.”
