As Head of Product at Arnlea, I’m responsible for ensuring Nexar meets the needs of our clients. I work closely with our customers and our internal teams to ensure that Nexar functions on a day-to-day basis while also looking at ways which we can improve our software in the future.
Onboarding New Clients
Most new clients come to us using a mix of spreadsheets, paper forms, or legacy systems. When we start working together, my team and I help them move all of that into Nexar.
Before anything goes live, we transform cleanse and organise their data, so everything is accurate, complete, and audit-ready. By the time a client starts using Nexar, their equipment, locations, and inspection history are already set up for them.
Integrating with SAP, Maximo, and other systems
Many of the companies we work with also use systems like SAP or Maximo. Nexar integrates with these so information flows smoothly between platforms. This leads to less manual re-entry, fewer errors, and a clearer view of what’s happening on-site.
Built for Ex inspections – but not limited to them
Ex inspections will always be our core focus because that’s where we’ve built decades of experience. But many clients want Nexar to support other types of inspections too. Some already use it for hoses and other on-site checks.
We’re expanding Nexar to cover more inspection types so teams can manage everything in one place rather than jumping between different systems.
Growing with the help of Sword
We recently partnered with Sword, which brings more people, more expertise and more support for our product team. This means faster development and more improvements to Nexar in the months and years ahead.
Looking ahead: digital twins, AI, and smarter data
As the industry changes, so will Nexar. We’re already exploring new technologies such as AI and digital twins. We want clients to access their data easily, see it in different formats and get more insight from the work they’re doing offshore and onshore.
Our goal is to keep making Nexar better for the people who use it every day. The more we listen, learn, and improve, the more value we can deliver back to the teams depending on us.
