Arnlea Systems Ltd, global leader in industrial mobile software for tracking, inspection and maintenance for the oil & gas industry, is working with long-standing customer, SBM Offshore on FPSO Liza Destiny, offshore Guyana, to provide its IntrinsixEX inspection and maintenance cloud-based software.

Designed and operated by SBM Offshore, the FPSO is installed at the Liza field, which is approximately 200 km off the coast of Guyana, in the Stabroek block.

Arnlea is providing its very latest version of IntrinsixEX inspection software that has been further enhanced to create a bespoke product specifically to suit the needs of SBM Offshore.

It also features a suite of android tablets with the latest UX/UI design, and Bluetooth pens for RFID tags, to enhance the inspection process, data capture and integration with SAP. This delivers superior management reporting via the Intrinsix Analytics dashboard and ensures SBM Offshore’s asset register remains continually up-to-date and synchronised in real-time. Its inspection team will have a greatly enhanced system to work with, which significantly improves both the inspection workload and the data collection afterwards to deliver premium data management without the need for any additional data processing.

IntrinsixEX uses auto-ID mobile technology to increase compliance and decrease costs in Ex inspections and maintenance activities and is compliant with IEC 60079 standards and ATEX directives.  IntrinsixEX materially improves operations across a host of different profit centres, include Finance, Deployment, Data & Reporting, User and HSEQ levels, and will continue to bring together a host of cost and productivity efficiencies to benefit SBM Offshore’s overall inspection operations.

Arnlea’s CTO, Andy Powrie said, “As a SaaS provider, this is precisely what we’ve designed our software to do. To be operational on a fully digital FPSO is to be participating in a state-of-the-art exploration project involving some of the most forward-thinking Oil & Gas operators worldwide. That it is taking place in offshore Guyana also means that this project is afforded a spotlight it otherwise wouldn’t because of the potential of this new field. We are delighted that one of our much-valued existing clients, SBM Offshore looked to us to support them in this endeavour for mutual benefit and growth.”
